What causes insomnia?

There are many possible causes for insomnia and there are different types of sleep disturbances. Some causes could be sleep apnea, too much caffeine, poor sleep hygiene, hormonal imbalances or stress just to name a few.

Whether you have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep we can train your brain waves to increase in theta and delta (necessary for falling asleep and staying asleep) and decrease waves such as beta (so that you can turn your brain "off" when it's time for bed).

We can teach your brain to appropriately regulate your sleep cycle so that you can stay asleep and wake feeling rested.
